नास्तिक होना क्यों जरूरी है?[Why is it important to be an atheist?]
नास्तिकता इसलिए जरूरी है क्योंकि आस्तिकता मानव जाति और पर्यावरण के लिए घातक है। धार्मिक होना मतलब नफरत और भेदभाव का पोषण करना, क्योंकि एक धर्म की मान्यता और कर्मकाण्ड दूसरे धर्म से बिल्कुल अलग होता है प्रत्येक धर्म अपनी मान्यताओं को अच्छा और दूसरे की धार्मिक मान्यताओं को गलत और बेबुनियाद साबित करता है इस प्रकार नफरत और भेदभाव उत्पन्न होता है।
प्रत्येक धार्मिक ये चाहता है कि उसके धर्म का वर्चस्व सबसे ज्यादा हो, उसे मानने वालों की संख्या अधिक हो इसके लिए वो दूसरों को क्षति पहुँचाने से भी पीछे नहीं हटता।
पाखंडवाद का बढ़ावा - नये दूसरा कारण है इसकी आड़ में आये दिन लाखों महिलाओं का यौन शोषण होता रहता है खुद को ईश्वर,अल्लाह का एजेंट बताने वाले बाबा और मौलवी दिन भर ठगी का जाल फैलाकर भोली भाली अशिक्षित जनता को लूटते रहते हैं एवं उनका शारीरिक मानसिक एवं आर्थिक शोषण करते हैं। सारे पाखंडवाद की जड़ ही आस्तिकता है क्योंकि जब कोई ईश्वरी सत्ता और चमत्कार में भरोसा करने लगता है तो वह स्वयमेव ही पाखंडवाद के दलदल में धँसा चला जाता है।
वैज्ञानिकता में अवरोधक -ईश्वरीय मान्यता अपने साथ, भाग्य, स्वर्ग, नर्क, परलोक, पुनर्जन्म, आत्मा जैसी मान्यताओं का पोषण करती है। भाग्यवादी इंसान कभी कोई नयी खोज नहीं कर सकता क्योंकि उसने सबकुछ भाग्य भरोसे छोड़ दिया है तो उसके खुद को करने के लिए कुछ बचता ही नहीं।
विज्ञान हर घटना की गहराई तक जाकर उसे जानने की कोशिश में लगा रहता है और यह प्रयास तब तक जारी रहता है जबतक कि कोई सटीक निष्कर्ष प्राप्त हो जाता है।
जनसंख्या वृद्धि में सहायक - मैंने कई धार्मिक लोगों से सुना है कि बच्चे अल्लाह/ईश्वर की मर्जी से पैदा होते हैं जबकि ऐसा कुछ नहीं है पांच रूपये का कंडोम खरीद कर भी ईश्वर अल्लाह की मर्जी को रोका जा सकता है। बच्चे इंसान की मर्जी से पैदा होते हैं इसमें ईश्वर अल्लाह की कोई भूमिका नहीं है इंसान चाहे तो धरती से इंसानी प्रजाति समाप्त हो सकती है ऐसी वैज्ञानिक समझ सबके पास होना जरूरी है।
स्वतंत्र सोच में बाधक - धार्मिकता स्वतंत्र सोच में सदैव बाधा डालती है क्योंकि धार्मिक ग्रन्थों एवं तथाकथित धार्मिक ठेकेदारों द्वारा सदैव बच्चों के दिमाग का ब्रेनवाश किया जाता है उन्हें तरह-२ की बंदिशों और सीमाओं में रहने को विवश किया जाता है जबकि ऐसा होना किसी के लिए संभव नहीं है मनुष्य एक स्वच्छंद प्राणी है स्वतंत्रता जीने के लिए जरूरी है फिर चाहे वो विचारों की हो या अधिकारों की।
यहाँ मेरे कहने का ये उद्देश्य बिल्कुल भी नहीं है कि इंसान चाहे जो भी करे उसे रोका न जाय,मेरा तात्पर्य है कि इंसान को कानून और संविधान के दायरे में रहकर जीवन निर्वहन करना चाहिए। परन्तु धार्मिकता में ऐसा नहीं है ये लोग मनुष्य की मूलभूत जरूरतों पर बंदिश लगाते हैं।
इतना तो तय है कि नास्तिकता अपनाकर इंसान मानसिक गुलामी से आजाद होकर खुद को हल्का एवं आरामदायक महसूस करता है।
